Gonzalo's Story – In Search of the Golden City
The story behind Gonzo's Quest is drawn straight from the history books. In the 16th century, Spanish conquistador Gonzalo Pizarro set out into South America in search of El Dorado — the legendary golden city of Inca mythology. NetEnt brought that thrilling expedition to life in this remarkable slot game.
Game KheloWhen you sit down to play Gonzo's Quest on Game Khelo, the first thing you'll notice is an animated Gonzalo standing on the left side of the screen — helmet on his head, torch in hand. The reels look as though they're carved into stone, while the sound of rain and a lush jungle atmosphere in the background bring the whole experience to life.
What Makes Avalanche Reels So Special?
In a standard slot, reels spin and stop — giving you just one shot at winning per spin. Gonzo's Quest works differently with its Avalanche system. Symbols drop down from above to fill their positions. When a winning combination lands, those symbols disappear and new ones cascade down to fill the gaps. This means a single spin can produce three, four, or even five consecutive wins.
The multiplier increases with every consecutive Avalanche. In the base game it goes 1x → 2x → 3x → 5x, while Free Falls start at 3x and can climb all the way to 15x. Hit four consecutive Avalanche wins in Free Falls with the final one landing at a 15x multiplier, and the payout can be substantial.
